For small batches, Mr. Pea Sheller comes equipped with a hand crank. However, I find the Mr Pea Sheller hand crank to be rather tiring and it is difficult to get good results. For best results Mr. Pea Sheller can be connected to a 100 watt electric mixer instead. When using your mixer it should be run at medium or high
speed for maximum torque.

Pros: Use a drill
Cons: Don't use the hand crank.
This pea sheller is smaller than I expected. Just like all the reviews say, it is not a good idea to use the little hand crank. My husband attached it to a drill and it works just like the video. Highly recommended.
